Spain, the healthiest country in the world in 2018

The prestigious Americana company Bloomberg, conducted a study aimed at finding the healthiest countries in the world, and Spain appeared in the first position for the first time after ousting Italy.

It is known that Spain is one of the countries with the highest life expectancy with 83.4 years of life on average (it is the third country in the ranking, only behind Japan with 84 and Switzerland with 83.6 years of life). This is caused by many factors, such as food, lifestyle, a good health system and being part of a global economy.

In order to have a healthy body and mind that helps us to live for many years, it is advisable to follow a series of habits.

  • Food: It is essential to keep a healthy, balanced diet and to drink the recommended daily dose of water. It is important to eat vegetables and carbohydrates and high quality and very natural meat products such as acorn-fed Iberian ham. We must avoid the over consumption of high calorie products and saturated fats. Other products such as alcohol, industrial pastries or tobacco should be eliminated or reduced as much as possible.
